I truly believe that being healthy is a lifestyle. I focus on being healthy over being skinny and I love how healthy feels.
In January of 2013 I began a Weight Watchers class for the fifth time after not sticking with the program in past attempts. This time was different, I felt I needed to make this change permanent and decided I was not a "quitter." I remember being on the elliptical, crying, thinking, "how did I get this out of shape?"
So I did exactly what I planned on doing, I made this change permanent. Around 5 months into this journey, I decided to attend a toning class led by the amazing Master Trainer - Janelle Rogers. I consider myself a work in progress. I have lost 63 pounds since January 2013.
I'm human, and I have bad days. We all will have bad days but it's important to remember that you get back on it the next day. And always remember it's never too late, you're not too old, as a wife and mom, you must find time to take care of you. I am married, 43 years old and a busy mom of three.
I became a certified personal trainer in June of 2017 and joined the Training By J Team to help others achieve their lifestyle goals.
